You are Beautiful Too~

I would like to help those who harbor such emotion out a little, there is more to envy besides the facts that it is 1 of the 7 deadly sins and the fact that the envier is happy to cause harm to those who they may deem to have a superior or superior qualities which the envier either covet or do not want their target to have. I would like you to know that you are beautiful too and your God given talents are different to that of those who you are envying, you can’t see it because your sight is blinded by green! Think of us as The X-Men on earth. If you remember, X-Men all had marvelous, yet very different gifts which were very helpful and they all were needed for the gift they possessed. Please, I urge you to cleanse yourselves from this ugly emotion! Not only do you sometimes harm and destroy others, you keep yourself wilted and unable to blossom. Per Wikipedia, this is one of the descriptions of envy:

A ruining flesh sin

Envy is a sin of the flesh.[14] Envy (evil eye) is among the things that come from the heart, defiling a person.[15] The whole body is full of darkness when the eye, the lamp of the body, is bad.[16] Envy ruins the body health because it makes the bone rot[17] and excludes us from inheriting the kingdom of God.[18] Sometimes, as a punishment, God leaves some people in their sins, falling prey to envy and other heavy sins.[19]

Please note that I don’t like to talk about this much but it is something which needs to be discussed more often because per Bertrand Russell: envy was one of the most potent causes of unhappiness.[4] It is a universal and most unfortunate aspect of human nature because not only is the envious person rendered unhappy by his envy, but also wishes to inflict misfortune on others. Although envy is generally seen as something negative, Russell also believed that envy was a driving force behind the movement towards democracy and must be endured to achieve a more just social system.[5]

I strongly suggest that we all meditate or take 20 minutes out of our day to be by ourselves in total peace and quite. Ask yourself Is this what I am on earth for? Is what I am doing with my life and in life now what God intended for me to do or is there something else? Really feel it in the moment of silence and you’ll hear God’s words and feel the energy from the Universe and you’ll become in control of your emotions, self-esteem, and self-worth.  You will hear, feel, and understand exactly what your purpose is and you will begin to make moves towards working in your purpose. Those with purpose in life do not envy others because they understand that God put them here to do exactly what they are doing, not what others are doing. As always, I love human kind and want us to do better~
