Is that how Men think of Women?

I was talking to a good friend of mine yesterday who pointed out that men consider women with short hair cuts to be sassy and easy. He said from what he have noticed, most women who cut their hair short become very flirtatious, and easy to sleep with, for lack of better words women with short hair cuts or those who cut their hair become sexually liberated and don’t seem to care about how they are perceived. So my question is. Is that how men think of us? Fellas, let me advise you all of the reasons why we cut our hair.  

 

1.       Many of us do go through a transition in life where we may have just gotten out of a bad relationship and choose to “start over” or “start fresh” where this will include a haircut along with new wardrobe, and trying to have a different outlook on life, which will also include trying things they have never done.

2.       Some of us may be tired of the long hair look and want a new or different phase which has nothing to do with coming out of a bad relationship but just that we want a new look.

3.       Some of us just love to keep up with the hair trends.

Now out of the 3, some of the women in reason number 1 may or most likely fall victim because they are most vulnerable due to the fact that they are just coming out of a relationship or bad break up. Not all women with short hair are sassy or easy, that is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard and I must say that I am very disappointed in how men think of us sometimes. You can’t associate or put all women with short hair cuts in the same category. And for those with short hair who happen to be easy, it is just because they are in a very emotional state. I shake my head because I’ve heard men give the example of Angela Bassett’s character in Waiting to Exhale as an example. Most men said she slept with the man *Wesley Snipes* the night she met him but she didn’t. They slept in the same bed because they both needed to be comforted but she did NOT have sex with him so stop using her character as an example because it is a poor one! Also, women with long hair may seem to be a bit more calm in personality if you are judging by her hair is because long hair take allot of patience, time, and effort to up keep. When we have long hair, we tend to seem a little more controlled because we don’t want the hard work we put into doing our hair to be in vain. That is the only reason why women with long hair seem to be more under control. Short hair is easy to fix so we don’t tend to fret when or if it should happen to get messy. Fellas, I strongly urge you to talk with us more and stop assuming because you give women a hard time for nothing or for what another woman have done. Putting us in the same category only lead you down the path of destruction. That is why we cannot communicate. When you think a certain way of us, you tend to treat us that way hence, you don’t want to hear what we have to say when we are talking in which you may come off to be quite disrespectful towards the woman you are dealing with. Now, she do not know what is in your mind and can’t understand why you are cutting her off or is not trying to hear what she is telling you hence, that becomes a nasty argument. Stop treating all women the same, use your experience as a guideline but learn the woman you are involved with now and stop assuming she’s like the one you used to be with. That is an OXYMORON!
